The first main Bitcoin FilmFest was presented in Warsaw as the world’s first Bitcoin FilmFest: three days of films, filmmaker conversations, workshops and a community gathering at Kinoteka.

Before the archive had an archive.
BFF’23 ran from 24–26 March 2023 at Kinoteka, inside Warsaw’s Palace of Culture and Science. Contemporaneous public promotion called it the world’s first Bitcoin FilmFest.
The available record is strongest on the films, conversations, workshops and closing awards. It is deliberately quiet on details the sources do not settle: there is no reconstructed timetable here, and the internal attendance estimate is not treated as a public total.

Open rooms for films and ideas.
The public evidence supports a community-led format: screenings paired with filmmaker or subject conversations, an Open Bitcoin Workshop strand, and a closing winners ceremony.
Film screenings
Documentaries and feature-length stories about Bitcoin, money, freedom and the people building around them formed the core of the Warsaw programme.
Open Bitcoin Workshops
Open Bitcoin Workshops were scheduled and documented during BFF’23. The surviving record does not establish a single definitive session list.
Conversations after films
Human B was followed by a filmmaker panel; The Great Reset and the Rise of Bitcoin by a mining-film panel; and the final panel discussed The Satoshi Mystery.
Weekend Kapitalizmu
A Sly Roundabout Way was promoted as a BFF’23 screening during the Weekend Kapitalizmu period. It is listed as programme context, not assigned an invented time.
