The second Warsaw Bitcoin FilmFest brought premieres, independent cinema, panels, workshops and community programming to Kinoteka inside the Palace of Culture and Science, as the fourth Bitcoin halving approached block 840,000.

Films at the edge of the halving.
BFF’24 was the film-festival component of the wider European Halving Party, whose programme ran from 18–21 April 2024. The festival itself ran from 19–21 April at Kinoteka, Warsaw.
The setting mattered: a Bitcoin cinema gathering in the Palace of Culture and Science, a landmark of the city’s twentieth-century history. The public record describes a weekend built around screenings, conversations and the shared anticipation of the fourth Bitcoin halving at block 840,000.

Screenings & premieres
Feature documentaries, shorts and independent films were shown at Kinoteka. The selection included five premieres and a broader set of public screenings.
Community Stage
A public community programme ran at Kinoteka on 19 and 20 April, creating room for voices and conversations around the films.
Amondo mornings
Amondo Breakfast and Amondo Workshops ran on 19 and 20 April. The archive also records Junior and Kids Cinema as part of the wider event’s family-facing programme.
ShortFest & CartoonFest
ShortFest was recorded at Kinoteka on 20 April, with Bitcoiners, HODL, The Lekker Feeling and Peru; CartoonFest and Kids Cinema formed part of the 21 April programme context, including Adventures of Jonathan, The Maxis Club Show and Bitcoin & Friends.
Halving weekend
The fourth Bitcoin halving completed during the Warsaw BFF’24 / European Halving Party programme. That countdown is the historical frame, not a live event prompt.
Closing ceremony
The weekend closed with a ceremony at Kinoteka, Golden Rabbit awards and an after-after party at Amondo in the recorded programme context.
