The Fall of 2008 is the second installment in Jimmy Morrison’s award-winning trilogy examining financial crises that exposed systemic failures in US monetary policy. Following the success of The Housing Bubble (2019), which won an Audience Award at Anthem Film Festival, this sequel deepens the investigation into the 2008 financial crisis and its aftermath.

Co-written by libertarian economist Tom Woods, the film documents how Federal Reserve actions and government bailouts designed to prevent immediate collapse ultimately prolonged the recovery period, creating the slowest economic rebound since the Great Depression.
