The New Radical

Adam Bhala Lough follows Cody Wilson and Amir Taaki, two radically different figures who join forces around Dark Wallet and a broader challenge to government, corporate power and surveillance. The film moves between their activism, the technology they build and the journalists, lawyers and officials trying to understand its consequences.

The Bitcoin angle

Bitcoin privacy is central through Dark Wallet, the project Wilson and Taaki developed to make transactions more anonymous. The film places Bitcoin inside a wider cypherpunk argument about privacy, autonomy and resistance to surveillance.
