The Satoshi Affair
This feature-length film is based on Andrew O'Hagan's long-form article “The Satoshi Affair.” It follows the dramatic events that led O'Hagan to investigate the figure known as Satoshi Nakamoto and his pursuit of the truth behind Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator.
The Bitcoin angle
Bitcoin's origin mystery is the film's central subject. By adapting a first-person investigation into Satoshi Nakamoto, it treats the creation of Bitcoin as a story about technology, identity, evidence and the people drawn into the search.
